Equipment Needed: One large dummy, two small hand-shields, and four cones. Description: The blocker dips under the large dummy, throwing his outside arm into the large dummy. The blocker continues on an arc inside of the shield-holder at four yards depth. The blocker angles to the cone at a seven yard depth and cuts across the field on a 90 degree angle. The blocker delivers a face-up blow to the second hand-shield. The second hand-shield simulates a linebacker and the third hand-shield simulates a free safety attempting to fill the alley.
Equipment Needed: Footballs. Description: The ends should be divided into pairs. One player runs four yards, stutter steps or plants, and comes straight back toward his partner. The partner throws low passes that the receiver must bend down to catch. Coaching Point: The coach should emphasize good reception techniques.
